职责
- Monitor and analyze financial performance (e.g., revenue, expenses, profitability). Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue growth, and profitability improvement. Execute business plans to expand sales, gross profit, and EBITDA for assigned customer accounts and market segments.
- Develop comprehensive segment strategies aligned with overall company objectives. This includes identifying target customers, positioning the company's products/services, and creating differentiating value propositions.
- Lead market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape within the assigned segment. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging opportunities. Present market trends and competitor actions to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Product Development, Application, Marketing, and Sales) from conceptualization to launch of new products and solutions. Monitor product performance and make adjustments to maximize market penetration and revenue. Build a product development pipeline to manage the product lifecycle within the segment.
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to promote the company's offerings to the target segment. This includes developing messaging, selecting marketing channels, and collaborating with the marketing team to create advertising materials for strategic media and events.
- Define clear sales goals, targets, and expectations for the team. Collaborate with the Director of Commercial Excellence and Transformation to develop plans for account management and talent development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the segment. Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and partnerships. Drive the segment sales pipeline and CRM management.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of segment-specific initiatives. Regularly analyze and report on performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategic adjustments. Manage pricing strategy across the region.
- Collaborate with internal teams - with a focus on supply chain and product development - as well as service units (HR, IT, Finance, Accounting, Corporate Marketing, SHEQ, Regulatory Affairs) and upper management to ensure organizational alignment. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Communicate market, product, and application knowledge across regions. Manage the segment's technical marketing SharePoint site and disseminate successful case studies.
- Uphold corporate governance principles and develop ESG-driven client solutions that address sustainability challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations, standards, and certifications.
要求
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, Management, Business, Marketing, Paper Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemicals business management, sales strategies, marketing, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of B2B market dynamics for specialty chemicals/equipment products, solutions, and services. Proven experience in segment management, product management, or marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and achieve objectives for sales, profit, and working capital.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research data and draw actionable insights.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft 365.
- Able to work flexible hours and willing to travel occasionally as required.
