Logistics Officer
We are currently seeking high caliber candidates for the following position:
- Responsible in production planning & scheduling, inventory monitoring & control, and other logistics / production related functions.
- Work with the team to develop strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of the department.
- Coordinate with factories, QA departments, internal and external customers in production and logistics related activities.
- Evaluation existing and new subcontractors; material cost control; supplier quality improvement.
- Monitor logistics cost and review slow moving stock.
- Handle queries and complaints from customers or sales.
- Maintain data in ERP system accuracy in a timely manner.
- Responsible in ad-hoc assignments, analysis and reporting.
- Support other logistics function if needed.
- Degree holder in related discipline; chemical background is preferable
- 4+ years working experience in logistics field with planning experience
- Experience in chemical industry is preferable
- Experience in handling sea shipment is preferable
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and fast Chinese Typing
- Hands on experience on ERP is a MUST
- Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (both Putonghua & Cantonese)
- Well-organized, good working attitude and communication skills
- Candidate who has higher qualification could be offered Senior Officer or Assistant Manager role
