Responsibilities
  • Drive competitive displacements, develop structured takeover plans, and build a 90-day conversion pipeline focused on fast-start opportunities (trial-to-purchase order).
  • Build multi-level relationships with site operations and procurement/finance teams to secure long-term partnerships and reduce competitor lock-in.
  • Implement industry-specific segment playbooks: - Palm Oil Mill: boiler + cooling + raw water + effluent compliance support - F&B: RO + boiler + hygiene/utility reliability - O&G: cooling/boiler reliability + corrosion/scale control - Pulp & Paper: cooling + boiler + raw water + wastewater stability, and to improve conversion rates and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Own revenue conversion speed, grow gross profit through pricing discipline, and monitor sales performance with data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with Technical Marketing, segment heads, and operations teams to align initiatives with company objectives; provide training to enhance the sales team's water management capabilities.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and value-selling demonstrations to secure new major accounts and negotiate contracts.
  • Leverage ESG as a business enabler (water savings, energy reduction, chemical optimization) and uphold strict governance and compliance standards in all proposals and contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or college degree in science or technical field (preferred).
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in Water Management business development, sales, technical marketing or a related role, preferably within the relevant industries.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, business principles, and sales strategies.
  • Ability to develop and accomplish sales and budget forecasts.
  • Familiar with Cooling Water treatment, RO treatment, Raw Water and Wastewater treatment, Boiler Water treatment in Palm Oil Mill, F&B, O&G industry.
  • Fluent in spoken and written local language; proficiency in English is preferred.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft O365 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Basic commercial knowledge and project management skills.
  • Flexible working hours and willingness to travel as required.
