Responsibilities
- Define and implement the customer journey for specific market segments. Strategize, position offerings, and execute marketing plans.
- Create and deliver technical content to educate and persuade customers about product benefits.
- Conduct product and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
- Manage new product launches, including developing marketing tools, identifying target customers, preparing initial trials, and transferring success to other customers.
- Work with product development to understand products, create unique value propositions, manage the Technical Marketing SharePoint, and conduct customer seminars.
- Collaborate on plans for technical training to enrich sales team knowledge and skills.
- Recommend product enhancements based on market feedback and contribute ideas for new technologies or product lines.
- Provide application support to target customers, work with sales on high-priority projects, provide best practice guidelines, and improve application technologies (lab evaluations, process troubleshooting, etc.).
- Maximize sales and profitability by administering viable solutions that foster long-term customer relationships. Support corporate sales and marketing policies.
- Support and advocate ESG initiatives, develop ESG-driven client solutions, and uphold corporate governance principles.
- Ensure safe practices on site and assure compliance with company and customer safety regulations.
- Continue supporting the team with various applications and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Bachelor or college degree in science or technical specialty or equivalent industry management experience.
- Minimum 15 years of management experience in a business-to-business sales environment, with increasing levels of responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge of technical troubleshooting in the pulp or paper manufacturing process.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior management at customer sites as well as internal stakeholders at APC.
- Thorough understanding of chemical applications in the pulp and paper industries.
- Solid knowledge of microbiology, biocides, contamination control, fabric treatment, retention aids, and wet-end chemistry in papermaking.
- Capable of analyzing data and provide solutions in appropriate manner.
- Achieves thorough knowledge of all Company products, corporate goals, and policies.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
